IVF: EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
The first step is the first consultation, on the second day of the menstrual cycle.
On that day, laboratory tests, ultrasound and the actual gynecological consultation are performed.
Following these procedures, the following steps are taken:
- Ultrasound and laboratory controlled ovarian stimulation
- Follow-up;
- Oocyte collection;
- Sperm preparation;
- Microinjection ICSI (intracytoplasmic sperm injection);
- Embryo culture (including blastocyst culture up to day five);
- Embryo transfer;
- Evaluation of the HCG level in the blood;
- The first visit to the doctor.
IMPORTANT NOTE
- Medication for ovarian stimulation is not included in the package (cost approx. 600-1000 EURO):
- You can do the analyzes in the country and they are: Blood count, HBsAg; Anti-HIV; Anti-HCV (valid for both spouses):
- At the first consultation it is OBLIGATORY to present your marriage certificate to the doctor.
