How the package price is formed
An all-inclusive figure is one number covering the whole episode of care: the surgeon, the operating theatre, anaesthesia, the hospital stay for the treatment itself, the standard pre-operative tests, transfers and the hotel for your stay, and a coordinator who stays with you from the first message to after you fly home.
What it cannot cover in advance is anything a doctor finds you additionally need. If that happens, it is quoted separately and in writing before anything is done, never added afterwards. That is the whole reason we ask for your file first: the second medical opinion comes back within 48 hours, and the price comes back with it.
Two items on the list are starting prices rather than package prices — a dental implant and a dental veneer are priced per unit, because how many you need is a clinical question, not a menu choice. The calculator labels those explicitly rather than showing you a total that could not be true.
Why the same treatment costs less in Turkey
The difference is mostly about where the work happens rather than what is done.
Staff and facility costs. Salaries, premises, rates and insurance are all substantially lower in Turkey than in the United Kingdom, and in any surgical price those are the largest inputs.
Volume. Turkey treats a very large number of international patients. A hospital that performs a procedure constantly runs it more efficiently than one that performs it occasionally.
How the price is sold. Our figure is all-inclusive and quoted once. UK practices generally quote per component — consultation, surgeon, facility, anaesthesia, follow-up — which makes the two numbers look further apart than the totals really are.
What the difference is not about is the implants, the materials or the equipment. Those come from the same international manufacturers that supply UK practices, and you are entitled to ask which ones are being used and to be told before you agree to anything.
What to check before you compare two offers
A price only means something once you know what is inside it. Ask any provider, us included:
- Is this the final figure for the finished treatment? Ask what is excluded, not what is included — the list of exclusions is the honest one.
- Who operates, and what are their credentials? You are entitled to a name before you pay a deposit, not after.
- Is the hospital externally accredited, and by whom? Accreditation by a recognised international body means somebody independent has inspected the place.
- Has anyone medically assessed me, or have I just been quoted? A price given without a doctor looking at your case is a sales figure.
- What happens if something needs revision? What is covered, for how long, and who pays for the travel.
If a provider answers all five without hesitation, that tells you something. If they answer one and deflect the rest, that tells you more.
What happens next
You send us your file — photographs, any relevant history, any scan you already have. We pass it to a doctor at a partner hospital. Within 48 hours you get a written second medical opinion and one all-inclusive price, confirmed before you decide anything. There is no charge for that and no obligation after it.
