HOW LONG WILL MY STAY IN TURKEY BE?
Depending on the complexity of the chosen procedure, it may be necessary to make two visits to Istanbul to complete your treatment. For dental implants, the first visit typically requires a 5-day stay, and the second visit an 8-day stay.
During the first visit, the surgeon places the implant into the jawbone. Then, the implant is covered with gum tissue to allow for proper healing. The healing period can range from 3 to 6 months, depending on the patient’s bone condition.
If you wish to wait more than 3–6 months before getting your dental crowns, this will not affect the procedure and is perfectly safe. The choice is entirely up to you, depending on your available vacation dates and, of course, your budget.
