After your procedures, it is normal to experience some swelling and soreness for a few weeks after surgery in your breast area. Your doctor will prescribe pain medication, it would also help to hold use ice packs on your breasts to relieve swelling and pain. 

You will need to wear a special bustier for two to three weeks after surgery and be required to also sleep on your back with pillows to keep your chest up.

Your abdominal incision and belly button will probably be covered with surgical dressing. Small tubes may be placed along the incision site to drain excess blood or fluid.

Members of our medical team will help you walk from the first day after to prevent blood clots. You will also probably feel moderate pain, which will be controlled by medication. It is also normal to have swelling in the surgical area.

​You will wear supportive abdominal clothing for about six weeks. This helps prevent fluid buildup and provides abdominal support while you heal. Your doctor will explain how to care for your scar.

​It is also advised to avoid heavy lifting and strenuous exercise for two to four weeks after surgery.
