Before planning a rhinoplasty, you need to meet with your surgeon to discuss some important factors. This meeting generally includes:

• Your medical history – The most important question is about your motivation and goals for performing this intervention. Our beauticians will also ask you questions about your medical history. If you have blood clotting disorders, such as hemophilia, you may not be a suitable candidate for rhinoplasty.

• Physical examination – Our surgeon will perform a complete physical examination. It will examine your facial features and the inside and outside of your nose. The physical exam helps the doctor determine what changes need to be made and how physical characteristics, such as the thickness of the skin or the strength of the cartilage at the end of the nose, can affect the results. Physical examination is also essential to determine the impact of rhinoplasty on breathing.​

• Photos – Photographs from different angles of your nose will be taken. The beautician will use these photos for before and after evaluations, reference during surgery and long-term checks. Most importantly, the photos allow for a specific discussion about the goals of surgery.
