2. What these terms cover
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of medicinepark.co.uk and to the facilitation services we provide to people who request a medical evaluation or a treatment offer from partner hospitals in Turkey. By submitting an evaluation request or using this website you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
3. The nature of our service
Medicine Park International is a medical-tourism representation and facilitation office. Our service consists of:
- receiving your medical file and forwarding it to JCI-accredited partner hospitals in Turkey;
- obtaining a second medical opinion and a written offer from the hospital;
- organising the logistics of your medical trip: appointment, transfers, accommodation, interpreter and personal coordinator, as set out in the package offered;
- assistance during your stay and after your return, for the follow-up checks agreed.
We are not a healthcare provider. We do not diagnose, prescribe or perform treatment. Every medical opinion, treatment plan, procedure or medical act is carried out exclusively by the partner doctors and hospitals, under their own professional responsibility and in accordance with the laws of Turkey. The treatment relationship is formed directly between you and the hospital that treats you.
4. Free evaluation and written offer
The evaluation of your medical file is free of charge and carries no obligation to proceed. Based on the documents you send, the partner hospital issues a second opinion and a written offer, which we undertake to communicate to you, as a rule, within 48 hours of receiving a complete file. The 48-hour period is a process commitment, not a guarantee: for complex cases or incomplete files it may take longer and we will let you know.
The written offer states the procedure, what the package includes and excludes, the price and its validity period. Prices shown on the website are indicative; the applicable price is the one in the written offer. The hospital may revise the offer if the on-site assessment (consultation, tests, imaging) reveals a medical situation different from the one in your file.
The written offer is valid for the period stated in it; where none is stated, it remains valid for 30 days from the date of issue and can be reconfirmed on request.
5. “All-inclusive” packages
Where an offer refers to an all-inclusive package, the components included (procedure, hospital stay, hotel nights, transfers, interpreter, follow-up checks) are those expressly listed in the written offer. Unless the offer states otherwise, the following are not included: flights, travel insurance, personal expenses, additional treatments or investigations recommended by the doctor after assessment, and any extension of your stay for medical or personal reasons.
6. Payments
Payment for treatment is made to the partner hospital, in accordance with the offer and the conditions it communicates. Medicine Park International does not charge the patient a fee for the evaluation or for its facilitation service. Any deposits, payment terms or instalment options are set exclusively by the partner hospital or a third-party finance provider and are stated in the written offer; Medicine Park International does not collect or process payments on the patient’s behalf.
7. Cancellation and rescheduling
You may withdraw from the evaluation at any time at no cost. Once an appointment has been confirmed, the conditions for cancellation, rescheduling and any non-refundable costs (for example accommodation or transfers already booked) are those stated in the written offer. The hospital may postpone or cancel a procedure on medical grounds; in that case we will support you in rescheduling. Medicine Park International applies no cancellation or rescheduling charge of its own.
8. Your obligations
- to provide complete, accurate and up-to-date medical information and documents;
- to inform the doctor of any condition, allergy, medication or previous treatment;
- to follow the pre- and post-operative instructions given by the hospital;
- to hold valid travel documents and, as recommended, travel insurance.
9. Limitation of liability
Medicine Park International is responsible for the facilitation and organisation services it provides directly. We are not liable for the medical act, the outcome of treatment, complications or the clinical decisions of partner doctors and hospitals — these remain the responsibility of the healthcare provider under the applicable law. Nothing on this website constitutes medical advice or replaces a consultation with a doctor. Results shown on the website or in our materials (before/after, testimonials) are individual and are not a guarantee. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Data protection
We process your personal data, including the medical data you send us for evaluation, in accordance with our Privacy Policy, and we use cookies as described in our Cookie Policy.
11. Intellectual property
The content of this website (text, images, trade marks, structure) belongs to Medicine Park International or its partners and may not be reproduced without written consent, except for personal, non-commercial use.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Any dispute will, where possible, be settled amicably; otherwise by the competent courts of Bucharest. If you are a consumer, you also benefit from any mandatory consumer-protection rights of the country in which you live, and you may contact the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection (anpc.ro).
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms; the version in force is the one published on this page, with its last-updated date. Requests submitted before a change remain subject to the version accepted at the time of submission.
