Eyelid surgery is one of the few cosmetic procedures where people often start with a practical reason and only then think about how it looks. So the first question is usually the cost: what eyelid surgery costs privately, in the UK and in Turkey.
This page answers it with figures rather than ranges, and it does not ask you to enquire to find out the price.
What eyelid surgery costs, written down
| Procedure | Our all-inclusive price |
|---|---|
| Blepharoplasty, both eyelids | 1,650 € |
| Blepharoplasty, one eyelid | 1,500 € |
Those are our prices for the procedure at our JCI-accredited partner hospitals, all-inclusive, confirmed in writing before you decide anything. The full list is on our treatment prices page, and you can check any other treatment against a quote of your own with the Turkey treatment cost calculator.
For a UK figure, read a provider’s own published price rather than a range. The Private Clinic (Harley Street, London) publishes, on its blepharoplasty cost page (read 24 September 2026): “The cost of an Upper Blepharoplasty starts from £3,999”, “The cost of a Lower Blepharoplasty starts from £5,250”, “The cost of a Combined Blepharoplasty starts from £6,900” and “Our Blepharoplasty procedures costs include unlimited follow-up appointments.” Those are their words, quoted as published; the current figure is on their page.
The honest comparison is not our number against their lowest number — it is our number against the total you would actually pay once consultation, the surgeon’s fee, the facility fee, anaesthesia and follow-up are all counted.
Is a blepharoplasty worth the money?
Value is the total you pay against what it covers. Eyelid surgery is an operation on the eyelid itself: it removes or repositions excess skin and fat on the upper lid, the lower lid, or both.
Whether it is the right operation for what you want changed is the surgeon’s call, and you can have that answer before spending anything: send us photographs and any relevant history and we come back within 48 hours with a doctor’s written assessment from a partner hospital, at no cost, together with one all-inclusive price.
Individual results vary. Nothing on this page is a promise of a particular outcome, and any surgical decision is one for you and your surgeon.
Where to have upper eyelid surgery
The proper conversation is with the surgeon who will actually operate, before you commit. What we would say is this: the single biggest variable you control is not the technique, it is who is doing it and where. Our partner hospitals are JCI-accredited, which means they have been externally audited against an international patient-safety standard rather than self-certifying. You are entitled to ask the same question of any clinic anywhere: who audits you, and when were you last audited?
What to check before you book anywhere
Use this as a checklist with any provider, us included:
- Is the price a single written figure, and what is inside it? Ask specifically whether the quote includes the surgeon, the facility, anaesthesia, medication, follow-up and — if you are travelling — accommodation and transfers. A low headline with four exclusions is not a low price.
- Who is operating, and what is their registration? You are entitled to the surgeon’s name and credentials before you pay a deposit, not after.
- Is the hospital externally accredited, and by whom? Accreditation by a recognised international body means somebody independent has inspected the place.
- Have you had a real assessment, or just a quote? A price given without anyone looking at your eyes is a sales figure, not a medical opinion.
- What happens if something needs revision? Ask what is covered, for how long, and who pays for the travel.
If a provider answers all five without hesitation, that tells you something. If they answer one and deflect the rest, that tells you more.
Having it done in Turkey
If you decide to travel, our eyelid surgery page sets out what the procedure involves with our partner hospitals, and the patient guide covers the practical side — what the trip looks like, how long you stay, what happens on each day.
The process from our side is the same for every treatment. You send us your file. We pass it to a doctor at a partner hospital. Within 48 hours you get a written second medical opinion and one all-inclusive price, confirmed before you decide anything. A coordinator stays with you throughout.
