“Turkey teeth” isn’t a treatment. It’s the nickname British patients gave to a set of dental treatments done in Turkey — usually veneers, crowns or implants — after they started appearing on television and in group chats. Some of the results people show off are excellent work. Some are not.
The difference almost never comes down to the country. It comes down to what was actually agreed before the drill came out: which treatment, on which teeth, why that one and not a less invasive one, and who looks after you when you are home.

A thin facing bonded to the front of the tooth. Only the front surface is prepared, and only where the tooth surface allows it. This is the least invasive of the three, and the one most people picture when they say “Turkey teeth”. Materials in normal use include e-max (lithium disilicate) and layered ceramics.
A cap that covers the whole tooth. A crown is the right answer when a tooth is already heavily filled, root-treated, cracked or worn — it protects what is left. Materials include zirconia and porcelain-fused ceramics. A crown requires more of the tooth to be prepared than a veneer, which is exactly why it should be chosen for a reason and not by default.
A titanium root placed in the jaw, carrying a crown or a bridge. This is the answer for a tooth that is missing — not for one that is healthy.
The one sentence that matters: these three sit on a scale from least to most preparation of your own tooth, and the correct treatment is the least invasive one that solves the problem in front of it. A plan that answers “veneers” for every tooth in your mouth has not looked at your mouth.
Five questions. Ask them anywhere you are considering, including here. A treatment worth having answers all five in writing, before you fly.
1. Is there a written treatment plan, tooth by tooth? Not “20 veneers”. A plan naming each tooth, the treatment proposed for it, and the reason. If a plan cannot say why this tooth needs this treatment, it has not been made yet.
2. Was a less invasive option considered, and ruled out on record? Whitening, bonding, alignment and a single crown are all real answers. Any of them may be the right one. You should be able to see that they were weighed.
3. Which material, and why that one? e-max, zirconia and layered ceramics behave differently — in strength, in translucency, and in how they wear against the opposing tooth. The material should be chosen for your bite and your case, and named in the plan, not left as “ceramic”.

4. Is the treatment planned inside a full hospital? This is the question most people never think to ask about dentistry, and it is the one that separates a treatment plan from a package.
Dentistry rarely needs a hospital — and that is exactly the point. It is there for the case that does not read from the script: the patient managing blood pressure or diabetes, the case that needs sedation, the file that should be seen by someone other than the dentist before anyone starts. A single-specialty clinic has a chair, a dentist and little else on site. A hospital does not.

5. What happens after you land back home? A named coordinator, a route back if something needs looking at, and a plan for follow-up. Aftercare is not an add-on to treatment abroad — it is most of what separates a good outcome from a story. Your coordinator does not close your file when you land.

Only as far as the chosen treatment requires, and it should be set out per tooth in your plan. A veneer prepares the front surface; a crown prepares the whole tooth; an implant replaces a tooth that is already missing. If a plan proposes the same treatment for every tooth, ask why.
Most veneer and crown cases are completed across two visits within one trip. Implant cases are staged, because the implant needs time to integrate before the final tooth goes on. Your plan states the schedule.
