A dental implant is not one thing with one price. It is a titanium post placed in the jaw, an abutment that sits on top of it, and a crown that goes on the abutment — and quotes differ enormously depending on how many of those three are in the number you are shown, and whether anything else was needed first.
This page separates them out.
What it costs with us, written down
| Treatment | Our all-inclusive price |
|---|---|
| Dental implant | 400 € |
That is our price at our JCI-accredited partner hospitals, all-inclusive, confirmed in writing before you decide anything. Every treatment is listed on our treatment prices page, and the Turkey treatment cost calculator will price any of them against a quote you already have.
How much is one implant in the UK?
For a UK figure, read a provider’s own published price rather than a range. Bupa Dental Care publishes, on its cost of dental implants page (read 24 September 2026): “Here at Bupa Dental Care, dental implant treatment starts from £2,400*, with options to spread the cost through monthly payments”, and in its footnote: “£2,400 price point includes the cost of a single implant, abutment and screw retained porcelain crown”.
Those are Bupa’s words, quoted as published; the current figure is on their page. What moves any UK quote is the implant system used, the complexity of the site, and whether the practice is in London or outside it.
The number that catches people out is rarely the implant itself. It is the preparation:
- Extraction, if the tooth is still there
- A bone graft or sinus lift, if your plan includes one
- A temporary, to fill the gap during healing
- The crown, which is sometimes quoted separately from the implant
A quote for “an implant” that turns out to cover the post only is not dishonest, but it is not the total either. The question that settles it is: what is the final figure I will pay for this tooth to be finished, and what is in it?
Why do dental implant prices differ between the UK and Turkey?
This is the question Google itself puts on this search, and it deserves a straight answer rather than a slogan.
The price difference is mostly about where the work happens, not what is done:
- Staff and facility costs. Salaries, premises, rates and insurance are all substantially lower in Turkey than in the UK. In any surgical price, those are the largest inputs.
- Currency. Our prices are set in euro against a Turkish cost base, and that gap does the rest.
- Volume. Turkey treats a very large number of international dental patients, and hospitals that do a procedure constantly run it more efficiently than practices that do it occasionally.
- How the package is sold. Our figure is all-inclusive and quoted once. UK practices generally quote per component, which makes the two numbers look further apart than the totals really are.
What the difference is not about is the implant itself. The implant systems used are manufactured by the same international companies that supply UK practices, and you are entitled to ask which system is being used and to be told the brand before you agree to anything. Ask us; ask anyone.
What you should also weigh honestly: travel, the time the treatment takes across one or two visits, and where you go if something needs adjusting later. Those are real considerations, and any provider that waves them away is selling rather than advising.
Individual results vary, and treatment plans differ from person to person. Nothing here is a promise of a particular outcome.
Are dental implants worth the money?
Value is the price of the finished tooth against what it includes, so compare totals rather than headlines: the post, the abutment, the crown, and any preparation your plan needs.
Which option suits your mouth is the doctor’s call. Send us a panoramic X-ray if you have one, or photographs if you do not, and you get a written second medical opinion from a doctor at a partner hospital within 48 hours, at no cost, along with one all-inclusive price.
Before you book anywhere, ask these five
- Is the quote for the finished tooth? Post, abutment and crown — or just the post?
- What happens if I need a bone graft? Is it included, and if not, what does it add?
- Which implant system is used? You are entitled to the manufacturer’s name.
- Who places it, and what are their credentials?
- Is the hospital externally accredited, and by whom?
Our own answers, and the full nine-point checklist, are in the dental implant checklist.
