BREAST LIFTING (MASTOPEXY)

Mastopexy is the medical name for the breast lift procedure, during this procedure, a plastic surgeon lifts and reshapes the breasts to give them a firmer, rounder appearance. POST-PROCEDURE

It is normal to experience some swelling and soreness for a few weeks after surgery. Your doctor will prescribe pain medication, it would also help to hold use ice packs on your breasts to relieve swelling and pain.

You will need to wear a special bustier for two to three weeks after surgery and be required to also sleep on your back with pillows to keep your chest up.

The pain, bruising and swelling should go away in a few weeks. Breasts can take between 2 and 12 months to reach their final shape. Avoid heavy lifting and strenuous exercise for two to four weeks after surgery.
